Donny Douglas is a 7 year old male neutered black and brown hound mix. He was brought into HSSM as a stray. Donny has some anxiety issues that are a work in progress. Donny is currently receiving pre-treatment medication for heart worm treatment. While having heart worms, he has had a mild cough which has been controlled with medication. His anxiety is being treated with medication, a thundershirt and behavioral modification. Donny is very sweet and gentle and adores car rides. He is house trained. Donny needs someone who understands he is working through some issues but he isn’t broken and deserves the best. He loves to explore but also seeks human attention. Donny would benefit from someone who is home often or possibly retired. He has some prey drive toward cats so only other dog housemates after proper introductions.
