Hey guys!! My name is Forest and I am an insanely handsome and sweet guy. I am around 3 years old so not an annoying puppy and not an old fart. They THINK I am maybe a pointer/hound mix. I weigh about 50lbs but  could stand to gain a few more pounds.

When I first got to Tired Dog I was A MESS. I had no hair and I was covered in sores and had heartworms. The nice folks at TDR nursed me back to health and now I am stunning. I have finished my heartworm treatment  and I am ready for my new home.

A little about me. I am smart, goofy and loving. I am always up for an adventure. I am active and love to run but I also really enjoy just snuggling. I love my people very much, SO much that I don’t really want to share them with anyone else. I am good with most dogs but some I am not crazy about. So we would have to try it out. I haven’t been around cats but judging by my personality I may not be good around them since I do like to chase small animals like squirrels.

I am quiet which is great but you know what they say about the quiet ones. Sneaky very sneaky I think that is where the hound comes in. For example, If you leave stuff on the counter I might sneak away with it when you aren’t looking. If the house seems TOO quiet you might want to check on me lol So, I need a home that is dog experienced and can dog proof. Don’t want to set me up to fail

If you are looking for a friend to go running, hiking or a long walk with I am your guy. Hopefully you still want to chill and watch tv with me too. But remember with my breed I am active and need stimulation so if ALL you want to do it lie around I might not be the perfect mate for you but if you want to mix it up then give me a shout!!!

I am up-to-date on vaccinations, neutered, microchipped and have received the 12-month heartworm shot!! I will need my follow up heartworm test in a couple of months but Tired Dog can help with that.

My fee has been sponsored which means that whatever you were going to spend on my adoption fee you can just spend on getting me awesome stuff for my new home!!! Hope to meet you soon!!!
