He came to TDR from a shelter where he was scheduled to be euthanized, not because he's in pain or terribly sick, but because he's a Tired Dog who is blind, hearing impaired and sometimes forgets his housetraining. Walter is friendly, enjoys his food, riding in the car and snuggling on someone's lap. We know we aren't the only people around who love Tired Dogs like Walter. It's a big deal to open your heart and home to a new friend who you know doesn't have much time left, but it also has its rewards. Walter needs a safe, loving home to live out his days. We at Tired Dog Rescue strive to find homes for dogs in need, build quality relationships with responsible owners, and preserve current dog-family homes by seeking solutions to financial, behavioral, and situational dog problems. We believe the lives of homeless, abandoned and abused dogs are just as precious as dogs that currently have a loving home.
