DARLING DELTA This 9-year-old Chihuahua mix has been waiting a long time for her forever home. Delta Marie loves to nap on the back of the couch, in the window or sometimes on your lap. She also enjoys playing with her tennis ball, exploring the backyard and soaking up the sun. It will take a little bit of time for her to trust, but once she does she is very sweet and loving. She walks very well on a leash and likes riding in the car. Delta is crate trained but does not have to be crated as she is not destructive and is house trained. She has not been crated while in foster care and she has been perfect. Delta gets along well with other dogs but can get bossy at times. Her new family will have to understand that sometimes she does not like to be picked. Because of this behavior, TDR recommends she not be adopted by a family with small children. Delta weighs 14 pounds, is heartworm negative, up to date on vaccinations and microchipped.
