SWEET, SHY, STOIC, SNUGGLY, SUPER SPECIAL SADDIE! (local adoption only) It's time for this 3-year-old Dachshund to become the beloved pet she was meant to be. After living her first three years outside, she deserves some major spoiling in the AC. She loves to snuggle with people and has a very calm personality. Saddie has cocoa velvety fur and will put that long nose right in the crease of your neck when you hold her. She needs gentle patience as she transitions. Saddie gets along with her fellow canines, and although she seems a little nervous around her foster family's cat, she isn't aggressive. Saddie responds similarly to children, so it's possible that a home without small kids would be best. At 12 pounds, she is in fairly good health and has begun heartworm eradication treatment. If you are looking for a super chill girl and ultimate Netflix companion, Saddie is for you. Like all dogs in care of TDR, Saddie will receive eradication treatment as part of her rescue. Additionally, she will be spayed and receive current vaccinations, heartworm prevention and a microchip. Because of treatment, Saddie needs a home in the Gulfport area. Available through Tired Dog Rescue, Gulfport, MS. Fee: $275. Apply at tireddogrescue.org.
Special Needs: Heartworm Positive currently on treatment
We at Tired Dog Rescue strive to find homes for dogs in need, build quality relationships with responsible owners, and preserve current dog-family homes by seeking solutions to financial, behavioral, and situational dog problems. We believe the lives of homeless, abandoned and abused dogs are just as precious as dogs that currently have a loving home. We believe that all dogs deserve a loving home despite their age, medical condition and/or disabilities. We provide whatever medical care is needed regardless of cost. All dogs are spayed/neutered, heartworm negative and current on vaccinations before being placed.
