MEET THE AMAZING TRUFFLES (local adoption only) This 5-year-old red Dachshund has come very far since joining her foster family. Truffles is extremely curious and puppy-ish for an adult dog. She has inspected her foster home thoroughly and has appointed herself guard. One of Truffles' favorite spots is by the front windows and nothing gets by her. She also loves being outside, laying in the sun, sitting on the patio and "helping" in the garden. When indoors, she wants to know what her people are up to. She likes to be picked up, cuddled, and she's learning how much fun stuffed toys are. Truffles is not a fan of her crate, and house training is a work in progress, although she knows what a pee pad is for. Truffles weighs 12 pounds, is up to date on vaccinations, scheduled for a dental cleaning and to be spayed. She is heartworm positive and will begin treatment soon.
