Why hello there!  My name is Donovan!  I am a 12 lb long haired chihuahua or papillon.  I'm 14 years old but you wouldn't know it.  My foster mom says I don't look or act my age.  I'm neutered, up to date on shots, and heartworm negative.  I'm ready to go!

Have you ever seen the show Lassie?  My foster mom says I look just like a miniature collie.  My tail is majestic and always wagging.  If it isn't wagging, it is sweeping the floor.  I am happy to help with household chores!  

My coat is absolutely gorgeous and so, so soft.  I get plenty of compliments when I'm out on my walks.  I ADORE being held and cuddled.  I will give you tiny little kisses that will absolutely melt your heart (so I've been told).

I am a quiet boy and my foster mom has never heard me bark!  I prefer to be a silent shadow and follow my human around the house.  I love naps and snuggling on the couch.  I will gaze at you with my perfectly round eyes until you simply must pet me.  

I love car rides and I've always dreamed of traveling the country in an RV.  I would love to see Mount Rushmore, the Rockies, and oh, the Golden Gate Bridge.  I would love to be shown the world.  If that means just watching the world on TV with you, I'm ok with that too!

I get along with dogs of all sizes.  I haven't been around cats or children yet but that could be tested if my potential home has either.  I'm a pretty laid back guy, not much phases me. 

I am housebroken and haven't had any issues when left out in the house.  My foster mom has tried to crate me, but I cry.  I prefer to be left out to cruise around (and nap around) the house.

I am missing some teeth (my tongue sticks out...it's the cutest thing ever) and will require a soft food diet.  My foster mom just soaks my kibble a few minutes before dinner and I can eat that just fine.  If someone wanted to spoil me with a wet food only diet, that would be amazing too!
