Have you always wanted a real-life teddy bear?  I’m your guy!  My name is Bear but my foster mom calls me Care Bear.  I am a two-year-old male chocolate Havanese and I weigh 13 pounds.  I am up to date on all my shots, heartworm negative and will be neutered before adoption!

I have had an interesting start to my life and need help with my social skills and building trust.  Once I know I can love you, I will be your biggest cuddle bear!  I love rubs! Ears…belly…I’ll take it all! 

I’m still working on my house training and I’m doing really well so far!  I’m still very new to walking on a leash and I'm really not that good at yet.  I will need a home with a secure fenced yard so I can work on my house training!  I would also love a human that can help teach me the leash so we can go on more adventures!  I would also love to learn some tricks!  I’m such a smart boy!

I love other dogs and would really enjoy a home where I can have another companion.  I think it will help me feel a little more comfortable and help with my social skills! 

I love sleeping in bed with my foster mom.  I sleep all through the night and will gladly snuggle with you into the morning if you like!  I can share the bed cuddles so easily because I don’t shed!  I will need an owner that is aware I will need regular trips to the groomer and need to be brushed if my hair grows long. 

I’m not a huge fan of the crate so my foster mom leaves me loose in the house when she leaves and I’m an angel!  I am not destructive, I don’t chew, bark, or dig. 

I haven’t been around children or cats yet, but it can be tested before adoption if needed.  Due to my somewhat timid nature and history, I would probably do best in a home without very young children.  The grabbing and screaming will startle me!

I just can’t wait to have a home that will give me all the cuddles and pets I could ever dream of!
