About Bailey | |
Bailey is an estimated 3 year old black particolored cocker spaniel. She is small at 22 lbs. She is heartworm negative and on preventative and up to date on all shots, including rabies. She was spayed on 10/30/12. She is very submissive and gets along great with people and other dogs, even dominant ones. She is a velcro dog and just wants to sit in your lap and get belly rubs all day long. She will come when called but does tend to dart out of the door when taken on walks. She needs a fenced in yard due to this. We are teaching her how to walk on a leash. She likes her nyla bone and loves to play fetch with a tennis ball. She is housebroken and has had free reign of the house without destroying anything. She does like to jump on furniture. She will leak some urine if you bend down to pet her when she initially sees you. The vet said this should resolve after being spayed. She does not appear to have any chronic skin or ear issues. Bailey was found wandering a neighborhood and all attempts to locate her owner have failed. We are looking for a home where someone is home most of the time and has a fenced in yard. They must agree to feed her premium pet food and continue her heartworm and flea/tick prevention. A home inspection and vet reference are required.
We at Tired Dog Rescue strive to find homes for dogs in need, build quality relationships with responsible owners, and preserve current dog-family homes by seeking solutions to financial, behavioral, and situational dog problems. We believe the lives of homeless, abandoned and abused dogs are just as precious as dogs that currently have a loving home. We believe that all dogs deserve a loving home despite their age, medical condition and/or disabilities. We provide whatever medical care is needed regardless of cost. All dogs are spayed/neutered, heartworm negative and current on vaccinations before being placed.
