About Amelia | |
|
My name is Amelia and I have never been so happy to fall for a trap. I was living outside alone and scared. They think that my previous family moved away because I kept going to the same areas to sleep because I thought they would come back for me. One night I was so tired and hungry and then I found a bowl of food. When I went to eat it I heard a loud bang and then I was trapped. That was the night my whole world changed.
I guess I never realized that I was never really loved or cared for. I thought I was but once I came to this new house everything was different. They feed me lots of food EVERY DAY!!! At first I couldn’t believe it and I would eat so fast because I was afraid I wouldn’t get anymore but now I eat a little slower because I know there will be more later. They pet me a lot which was weird at first but I am starting to really like it. They were always calling me and I would look at them like they were crazy but now I go running because I know I am going to get a pet, a kiss or food. I LOVE this place. I am growing so much hair that it is hard to see and my foster mom says I will need a haircut soon.
I am an older girl but don’t let that stop you from considering me. I am such an easy girl. I am happy with being petted and having a full belly. I like to sleep a lot. I am quiet and I am already housebroken. I appear to maybe had a broken leg once and it healed a little crooked but I get something mom calls joint treats and I am moving along sooo much better now. I can even stand on my back legs which I haven’t been able to do in a long time. Please give me a chance. You won’t regret watching me change and blossom into a wonderful pet.
My fee will be 100.00 to help cover my vetting cost
We at Tired Dog Rescue strive to find homes for dogs in need, build quality relationships with responsible owners, and preserve current dog-family homes by seeking solutions to financial, behavioral, and situational dog problems. We believe the lives of homeless, abandoned and abused dogs are just as precious as dogs that currently have a loving home. We believe that all dogs deserve a loving home despite their age, medical condition and/or disabilities. We provide whatever medical care is needed regardless of cost. All dogs are spayed/neutered, heartworm negative and current on vaccinations before being placed.
