My name is Tucker and I am a Cocker Spaniel/Golden Retriever mix. That is what gives me my stunning good looks. I am approximately 5-years-old. My dad passed away and I am trying to figure out my place being in a new home but I have been managing to have some fun playing in the sunshine at my foster home. I weigh about 35lbs so a good sturdy dog. I would LOVE to have a little boy or girl human to play with. A little older child though because I don't like my tail or ears pulled and that can sometimes happen with very young humans. I love people big and small.
I am ok with most dogs but we will have to meet and see how it goes. I was good with the kitty in my old home but I do tend to want to chase the kitties at my foster home so I am not sure whether or not I would be good with the ones in your home.
I am housebroken but did not need to be crated by my dad because I am well behaved but as always with a new dog in a new place I understand I may have to be at first. I am up-to-date on vaccinations, neutered, microchipped but unfortunately wasn't given heartworm prevention so have to go through heartworm treatment. I must stay local during my treatment.
You can fill out an app at www.tireddogrescue.com My fee is 250.00 to help a bit with the heartworm treatment.
We at Tired Dog Rescue strive to find homes for dogs in need, build quality relationships with responsible owners, and preserve current dog-family homes by seeking solutions to financial, behavioral, and situational dog problems. We believe the lives of homeless, abandoned and abused dogs are just as precious as dogs that currently have a loving home. We believe that all dogs deserve a loving home despite their age, medical condition and/or disabilities. We provide whatever medical care is needed regardless of cost. All dogs are spayed/neutered, heartworm negative and current on vaccinations before being placed.
