Hi my rescue name is Otis, but my foster family calls me Tip (I have one white hair on the very tip of my tail). I am a 3 1/2 month-old terrier/dachshund mix. It's hard to predict, but I will be about 30 lbs when all grown up - the PERFECT size! I am black and white with all four white socks and a full white collar. I am 100% healthy and ready for my furever home. I get along with all dogs. I wrestle, chase and love to play. I don't like it when other dogs try to steal my food, b ut I only growl at them. There is a cat in this house that never lets me play with her, I bark to get her attention, she just sits there - so rude! Foster mom uses a water bottle to remind me to quiet down when I get a little carried away. I am working on house training and if I stay on schedule, I'm pretty good. I'm still not asking to go outside when I need to go. Foster mom watches me close and when I try to sneak into a corner, she gets me outside. I live for tug-o-war. I am the most dominant of my pack, so when any other dogs have something interesting, I take it away, just for the fun of tugging. Foster mom is working on drop it, but I don't like her game. There are 2 kids in my foster home (8 & 10); they pick me up, carry me around and they are teaching me not to jump up on them when we are playing. I just want to be with my people, I love to be held, snuggled and pet. I just want to be at your feet, in your lap or in your arms. I don't fetch because I just can't bear to be away from you. I want a family that includes me, plays with me and teaches me all the things a good puppy needs to know. I am smart, very treat motivated and a little stubborn!
