MEET HARVEY. This little pointer mix is just shy of a year old. His foster mom found him, abandoned and starving, lying on a couch by the side of the road. His littermate had already died, and Harvey was later diagnosed with Parvovirus. With love and care, not only did he survive, he's thriving. Harvey weighs 20 pounds and is full of energy. He's sweet, friendly and gets along with humans of all ages and his fellow canines. Harvey hasn't been around cats, though. This pup needs a family to play outside with him, take him running, hiking ... whatever it takes to keep up with him. A fenced-in yard also is a must. Harvey likely will top out at 28 pounds when he's fully grown. He is house- and crate trained, neutered, up to date on vaccinations, heartworm negative and has had a six-month injection for heartworm prevention. Available through Tired Dog Rescue, Gulfport, MS.
