PICTURE PERKINS IN YOUR HOME! Perkins is a mixed breed, about two years-old and weighs a little over 13 pounds. He is playful and overall a very friendly dog with a sweet disposition who loves a good nap. He's also quite healthy. He is heartworm negative and has received an injection for 12 months of heartworm prevention. He will be neutered and up-to-date on vaccinations before adoption. Settling in at his foster home, so far he is friendly toward humans, including children, and his fellow canines. He is somewhat leery of strangers and growls at newcomers for a few minutes until introductions are made. Perkins is being housetrained by his foster family.
