YOU'LL GO NUTS OVER PECAN! This Dachshund mix puppy is six months old and was surrendered to TDR by an owner who couldn't care for him. Because he's brand new, you can bet you will have to be patient and consistent when it comes to house- crate- and leash training, but his foster mom has him off to a great start. He already is asking to be let out and is using pee pads! He’s become accustomed to walking on a leash and has learned a few basic commands. Pecan is a little shy when first introduced to new dogs and people. He hasn’t been around cats or children. He weighs 16 pounds, is on schedule with his shots and soon will be neutered.
