ONE HALF OF A BONDED PAIR Jax and Bentley go together like peanut butter and jelly. They need an individual, couple or family with a lot of love and energy to keep them happy and healthy. TDR decided to go to Jax directly to get more information about him:
TDR—Welcome! Tell us about yourself.
Jax—I’m Jax, a 3-years-young, 18-pound, Dachshund/Jack Russell mix with soulful eyes and a happy disposition. I’m good in the car and on a leash, though I love a good romp in the back yard! I don’t shed much and shouldn’t need a lot of grooming. I'm fully house trained and I know "no" and "sit" like all good dogs should.
TDR—Excellent to meet you, Jax. What are your thoughts on cats?
Jax—They’re good for chasing! Not sure I want to live with one.
TDR—How are you with humans?
Jax—Love meeting new people after my initial nervousness wears off. I sometimes show my teeth because I feel they’re my best attribute aside from my kisses! My foster mom says we will meet some kids soon and I’m excited for that adventure.
TDR—And how’s your health?
Jax—Great. No health issues, no meds, and I’ll be getting neutered, whatever that is, soon. Wish me luck!
TDR—We wish you all the best, Jax. And we will work hard to find a good forever home for you and Bentley so you guys can stay together. Thanks for chatting with us.
Jax—You’re very welcome. I look forward to making my new family very happy and loved.
Jax is microchipped, up to date on vaccinations and is heartworm negative. At this time, TDR recommends that Jax and Bentley not be adopted by a family with small children. More information is coming! Available through Tired Dog Rescue, Gulfport, MS. Fee: $175 ($350 for the pair). Apply at tireddogrescue.org.
We at Tired Dog Rescue strive to find homes for dogs in need, build quality relationships with responsible owners, and preserve current dog-family homes by seeking solutions to financial, behavioral, and situational dog problems. We believe the lives of homeless, abandoned and abused dogs are just as precious as dogs that currently have a loving home. We believe that all dogs deserve a loving home despite their age, medical condition and/or disabilities. We provide whatever medical care is needed regardless of cost. All dogs are spayed/neutered, heartworm negative and current on vaccinations before being placed.
