PRETTY AS A PICTURE  Phoebe is an 11-year-old Chihuahua who came to TDR when her owner became very ill. Unfortunately, Phoebe was a bit neglected so she has spent her first month in foster care getting quality vet care and some major TLC from her foster mom. This little gal is sweet, affectionate and a loving cuddle bug. Phoebe also is house- leash- and crate trained but needs access to pee pads when indoors. This little gal is cautious around new people, so TDR recommends she not go to a family with small children. As a plus, she gets along with cats! Phoebe recently had a dental cleaning and she's up to date on vaccinations. She is heartworm positive and will begin treatment soon. She also needs to be spayed. In order for her to stay with her veterinarian, her adoptive family should live in the Gulfport area. Available through Tired Dog Rescue, Gulfport, MS. Fee: $275. Apply at tireddogrescue.org.

We at Tired Dog Rescue strive to find homes for dogs in need, build quality relationships with responsible owners, and preserve current dog-family homes by seeking solutions to financial, behavioral, and situational dog problems. We believe the lives of homeless, abandoned and abused dogs are just as precious as dogs that currently have a loving home. We believe that all dogs deserve a loving home despite their age, medical condition and/or disabilities. We provide whatever medical care is needed regardless of cost. All dogs are spayed/neutered, heartworm negative and current on vaccinations before being placed.
