FIND A PENNY, PICK HER UP   That is exactly what happened to this sweet little girl. A mother/daughter pair of Good Samaritans found this young Chihuahua in a ditch alongside the road and rescued her. Although she hasn't had her intake with the vet yet, she seems to be in good health and is probably about 18 months old. She tolerates the leash and crate, and she's house trained. Penny seems very comfortable around cats and her fellow canines, although TDR doesn't know yet how she might react around small children. As a youngster, she's still in the habit of chewing things she shouldn't so Penny will need safe toys and treats to keep her busy. As more information becomes available, we will post it here, but keep in mind that all TDR dogs are heartworm negative, spayed/neutered and up to date on vaccinations before they are adopted.
