About Daisy Mae | |

Hello! My name is Daisy Mae and I’m a beautiful little poodle. I’m a senior gal but don’t let that sway you, my FM says I’m quite sassy and full of personality.
I can’t hear anymore and my sight isn’t what it used to be, but I can still see enough to get around and love to follow my human. I am house trained and when I go out to potty I don’t wander far. I’d rather do my business quick and go back to be with my person. I really enjoy getting a treat after I potty, it’s my favorite reward. Don’t worry, I’ll do a little dance and wag my tail to remind you.
I would do best with a retired person or maybe someone that is home most of the time as I do need frequent potty breaks. I sleep well through the night and like to sleep in my crate (it keeps me from wandering off the bed in the dark). Also, I need a home without stairs as they are unfortunately too difficult for me to manage anymore.
I love to nap throughout the day and hang out with my FM on the couch watching TV. I also love my bed and have no problem entertaining myself with a nap if you’re busy!
I love following people around and like to know where my people are. My FM says it’s hard to take pictures of me because I am always on the move following her! Taking a stroll through the yard and garden with my FM is one of my favorite activities. All the smells!
I would do best with lower energy, respectful dogs in the home because of my low vision, other dogs can sometimes startle me.
I just finished my vet exam and other than some minor arthritis, I’m as healthy as can be!
I don’t shed and just need a trim at the groomer every once in awhile. I’m a simple girl! Apply at www.tireddogrescue.org
We at Tired Dog Rescue strive to find homes for dogs in need, build quality relationships with responsible owners, and preserve current dog-family homes by seeking solutions to financial, behavioral, and situational dog problems. We believe the lives of homeless, abandoned and abused dogs are just as precious as dogs that currently have a loving home. We believe that all dogs deserve a loving home despite their age, medical condition and/or disabilities. We provide whatever medical care is needed regardless of cost. All dogs are spayed/neutered, heartworm negative and current on vaccinations before being placed.
