Hi My name is Floyd. My foster Mami calls my Floyd Mayweather cuz I’m a fighter but don’t be fooled. I’m a lady lover too! My foster mami likes to bring me to her parents house where I get spoiled by her family. I love the attention but I do get skittish with too many people so FM takes me to a quiet room where we can calm down and she can give me less stimulation. I’m older so I am set in my ways a little. I love just laying around and relaxing. I like other dogs but they got to give me my space. So a family where I’m getting all the love and affection is best. A yard would be awesome but I can live in an apartment as long as I’m taken out for potty often. FM gots some info about me so I’ll let her talk me up. Floyd is a miniature schnauzer mix, he is approximately 7 -8 years old. He has a heart murmur so too much excitement gets his heart overwhelmed. He had some skin issues that we are taking care of with a new medicated shampoo. The vet told us he needs to see a cardiologist before he can have any sedation. So teeth cleaning is not going to happen ♀️. He has interacted with other dogs but get tired of being about them if they are all up in his business for too long. He has food guarding issues which we are trying to work on. The the epitome of my lazy and cute. He loves car rides. Like he’s said he’s spoiled so he eats fresh pet food cuz it’s actually food he will eat without hesitation or difficulty.
Special Needs: Bilateral heart murmur
We at Tired Dog Rescue strive to find homes for dogs in need, build quality relationships with responsible owners, and preserve current dog-family homes by seeking solutions to financial, behavioral, and situational dog problems. We believe the lives of homeless, abandoned and abused dogs are just as precious as dogs that currently have a loving home. We believe that all dogs deserve a loving home despite their age, medical condition and/or disabilities. We provide whatever medical care is needed regardless of cost. All dogs are spayed/neutered, heartworm negative and current on vaccinations before being placed.
