Hi, I’m Simon a sweet, playful 4-month-old dachshund puppy who weighs 9 pounds! I am heartworm negative and will be up to date on my shots and neutered (end of Sept) before adoption .

I am only around 4mo old so I’m still working on potty training and getting used to walking on a leash. I do love running around in a fenced yard. I am a very affectionate puppy and love to give kisses. I also like to stay close to my people and will probably follow you around the house. I’m a cuddler so movie nights on the couch are my favorite.

Right now I’m living with 2 kids and another medium sized dog. I love them all. We get along great. I love playing with the kids and my dog friend and I have a blast chasing balls and playing tag. I can’t wait to get adopted and find someone to play and snuggle with me. I’ve never been around cats but if they will play with me, I’m sure I’d love them. I have no issue with the bearded dragon that lives in my house. I just give him his space because he’s a little funny looking and close to my size.

We at Tired Dog Rescue strive to find homes for dogs in need, build quality relationships with responsible owners, and preserve current dog-family homes by seeking solutions to financial, behavioral, and situational dog problems. We believe the lives of homeless, abandoned and abused dogs are just as precious as dogs that currently have a loving home. We believe that all dogs deserve a loving home despite their age, medical condition and/or disabilities. We provide whatever medical care is needed regardless of cost. All dogs are spayed/neutered, heartworm negative and current on vaccinations before being placed.
