|
Victoria (Vicky) is a beautiful 3-year-old black Merle Pomeranian. Though she weighs only 8 pounds, she has enough fluff to make her look a bit bigger! Gentle, serious, and timid/wary at first, Victoria has been through a lot in her small life. She is easily won over with kindness, gentleness, time, and her favorite treat, cooked chicken. She is a low-key pup. She is a quiet dog, who rarely barks and only at the most appropriate times.
Victoria is still learning her house training, but is doing quite well if taken out regularly. She needs someone with patience to help her along the way. Victoria loves her people, especially the women in the house. Her favorite person is the 11-year-old girl in the foster home. Her ideal life would be snuggled on a cushion next to you or in your lap. Victoria is good with adults, respectful kids, other dogs, and cats.
Victoria will need a fenced yard to wander in and smell all the smells. She can be a little timid at first and a yard will keep her safe while she acclimates to her new family. Victoria is doing well on her leash training and likes to be around her people. She likes it so much that she's not a huge fan of being left alone. Victoria would do best in a home where people aren't gone extended amounts of time or with another dog to keep her company.

We at Tired Dog Rescue strive to find homes for dogs in need, build quality relationships with responsible owners, and preserve current dog-family homes by seeking solutions to financial, behavioral, and situational dog problems. We believe the lives of homeless, abandoned and abused dogs are just as precious as dogs that currently have a loving home. We believe that all dogs deserve a loving home despite their age, medical condition and/or disabilities. We provide whatever medical care is needed regardless of cost. All dogs are spayed/neutered, heartworm negative and current on vaccinations before being placed.
