Meet Pooh Bear: A Senior Sweetheart Looking for Love!

Pooh Bear is a 17-year-old, 10-pound red Dachshund with a heart as big as her name suggests. This precious girl lost her only owner and is now searching for a soft place to land in her golden years.

Pooh Bear may be a senior, but her loving spirit shines brightly. She has a heart murmur, arthritis, and some bone spurs in her spine, but with her current pain medication, she’s comfortable and happy. She’s also up-to-date on all her shots and has recently had dental care, so she’s feeling her best!

This little lady loves quiet companionship and warm cuddles. At just 10 pounds, she’s the perfect size to snuggle on your lap or in her favorite bed. Pooh Bear would do best in a calm, loving home where she can be the center of attention and enjoy plenty of cozy naps.

If you’re ready to open your heart to a senior dog who has plenty of love to give, Pooh Bear is waiting to meet you in Gulfport, MS. Let’s give her the happy ending she so deserves!
