Hey there my name is Scotty and I am so handsome don't you think? I am about 1-2yrs-old and have been living outside under a car for the past couple of months. My former family moved and left me behind. I was so scared and dirty and hungry when my foster mom and dad came and saved me. They took me home and fed me and cleaned me up. I am stunning if I do say so myself. I am very playful but love to snuggle under the covers at night with my foster mom. I am very well behaved for a young boy and I LOVE to play. I am hoping to find a home with another doggie to play with. I am looking for a family that will make a lifelong commitment to me because I can't be left behind again. That hurt too much. If you are willing to love me for the next 12-15 years fill out an application at www.tireddogrescue.com or give my foster mom a call at 228-254-6305. My fee is 250.00 which I think is a great deal for such an awesome guy who will love you forever. Tired Dog Rescue asks that you please think carefully before adopting a Cocker Spaniel. Cocker Spaniels are a very high maintenance breed. They must be brushed 1-2 times weekly to keep their fur from matting. Grooming cost averages about 60.00 every 6-8 weeks. Cockers must have weekly ear cleanings to avoid infection and costly trips to the vet. If you are not prepared for the time and cost of owning a Cocker Spaniel please consider a lower maintenance breed. Please note that Tired Dog Rescue will not adopt Cocker Spaniels to homes that have small children living in the home or that visit the home often. If you are interested in any of our dogs please fill out an application at www.tireddogrescue.com All adoptions require a home visit and vet check. Adoption fees range from 150.00-250.00. This fee covers all vaccinations, spay/neuter and any other medical treatment needed. If you have questions you may call Terry at 228-254-6305 or go to our website. Thanks for looking!!
We at Tired Dog Rescue strive to find homes for dogs in need, build quality relationships with responsible owners, and preserve current dog-family homes by seeking solutions to financial, behavioral, and situational dog problems. We believe the lives of homeless, abandoned and abused dogs are just as precious as dogs that currently have a loving home. We believe that all dogs deserve a loving home despite their age, medical condition and/or disabilities. We provide whatever medical care is needed regardless of cost. All dogs are spayed/neutered, heartworm negative and current on vaccinations before being placed.
