About Aida

  • Status: Adopted!
  • Species: Dog
  • Current Size: 55 Pounds
  • Current Age: 14 Years 2 Months (best estimate)
  • Grooming Needs: Low
  • Reaction to New People: Friendly

Aida is a sweet girl. She was born at the Lafayette County Animal Shelter. My son and his girlfriend adopted her when they were a ttending Ole Miss. They always took care of her together. They have split up and he travels for up to ten days at a time. Aida seems sad, having lost two special people. Aida needs a full time companion. She lived in a condo with the kids but has been treated with daily walks and trips to the dog park often.

She is well mannered. She will sit, shake, and go to bed when told. She is house trained and probably would not do well as an outside dog, however she does enjoy playing catch. She likes to be with people. I think that Aida would do best with older kids and adults. She has only ever known college age adults and older. She has never bitten anyone but gets very nervous if small children come over. (She is staying with me now and when the two and three year old grand kids come, she gets very nervous and jealous, as she is used to the adult attention).

He was told that she is a boxer/lab mix. She weighs about 55 pounds. She will be three in February.

Aida's fee will be 125.00 to cover yearly shots and exam. Please contact us if interested.
