Hi,  my name is Henry and I just hit the lottery. You see I had been living on the streets. I was so hungry and the I had so many fleas that I became very anemic and weak. This past Monday I was saved by a nice lady who called Tired Dog Rescue for help. And help they did!! They took me home and shaved all my dirty matted hair and gave me yummy food and a warm bath. Then they took me to a lady who poked me and gave me medicine to make me feel better. I am going to be just fine she said. Now that the fleas are gone I will start to get my strength back and I already feel 100 times better. She said I am about 4-years old. I am very, very timid at first but once you pet me I will be your shadow. I like to lie in your lap and snuggle as close as I can in bed. I still need to be neutered but that is all that is left before I can be adopted.
I would probably be scared of small children as I am still trying to learn to relax and not be scared. I am okay with other dogs but as of yet I do not play with them. I am not sure what to do with toys but I think I will learn. I was never taught where to potty so my foster Mom is teaching me. She said as long as you keep me on a regular schedule and crate me when you are not home I should learn quickly.  I'm a very good boy who deserves love.

We believe that all dogs deserve a loving home despite their age, medical condition and/or disabilities. We provide whatever medical care is needed regardless of cost. All dogs are spayed/neutered, heartworm negative and current on vaccinations before being placed.
