My name is Lacee. I am a 10-year-old female Whippet. I am underweight at the moment and weigh 23lbs. I should be closer to 28lbs. I am slowly gaining and hope to be at my perfect weight soon. When I first came to my foster home I was pretty weak and had no muscles but now I am can get right up the ramp and try to run in the yard. My foster mom isn't letting me run yet as I am heartworm positive and will start treatment shortly. I will need to stay on the MS Gulf Coast until my treatment is complete. 

I was pretty depressed after losing my dad and then being dumped in the shelter but I LOVE my new foster dad. I love my foster mom too but more when Dad isn't around. I am an older, fragile girl so would prefer a home without a lot of activity, small kids or overactive dogs. I would love to spend my time staring into your eyes. I prefer the company of humans and crave attention so hope to get in a home where I will get a lot of one-on-one attention. My favorite thing after eating is snuggling next to my person in bed.

I am housebroken but can't go more than 8-9 hours as I am an older gal and things don't work as well as they used to.
