Meet Tobbie, an adorable 11-year-old neutered Yorkshire Terrier/Maltese mix, weighing just 8 pounds. Despite the challenges he's faced, Tobbie's resilience shines through. After a much-needed dental procedure where he bravely lost 14 teeth (but still has 4 left!), Tobbie is finally free of the pain caused by severe tartar, gum disease, and abscessed roots. He’s also managing a heart murmur from atrial enlargement, but his heartworm test came back negative!

With patience, love, and lifelong medication for his heart condition, Tobbie is now well on the road to recovery. His health is stable, and he's eagerly searching for his forever home—a place filled with warmth, care, and lots of love. Tobbie’s future is bright, and he’s ready to embark on a new chapter with a family who can offer him the companionship he deserves.

Special Needs: Heart murmur lifetime medication to manage

We at Tired Dog Rescue strive to find homes for dogs in need, build quality relationships with responsible owners, and preserve current dog-family homes by seeking solutions to financial, behavioral, and situational dog problems. We believe the lives of homeless, abandoned and abused dogs are just as precious as dogs that currently have a loving home. We believe that all dogs deserve a loving home despite their age, medical condition and/or disabilities. We provide whatever medical care is needed regardless of cost. All dogs are spayed/neutered, heartworm negative and current on vaccinations before being placed.
